Overlooking a forested ravine with a small fenced-in pasture area sits Elwood Loft.
This quaint bunkhouse was built with an attached 3-stall horse stable and ample trailer parking; your horses need a vacation, too!
Whether or not you bring your riding companions, our tastefully decorated Elwood Loft features a king bed in the lofted area above the kitchen, a pull-out queen sleeper sofa in the living area, and one full bathroom (shower only) to comfortably house up to 4 guests.
Elwood Loft does not have WiFi.
Enjoy the simpler things in life by relaxing on the decking/seating to watch your horses graze in the fenced-in turnout area, soak in the 4-person hot tub, enjoy conversation around the fire pit, cookout on the gas grill, watch satellite tv/movies, or doze in front of the gas stove fireplace.
This home is fully furnished and complete with a fully-stocked kitchen for your every need. Base rates are for 2 guests. We can accommodate up to 4 guests for additional charges. Minimum booking age to rent: 21 years.
We have a friendly outdoor barn kitty on site who may come say hello. However, other than your own horses; no other pets are permitted. Please bring horse bedding (shavings) to refresh the stalls as you leave. Each stall has a light/fan/hay rack and window. All out-of-state horses must have a current, verifiable health certificate.
Come and enjoy a restful and relaxing stay off the grid in our luxurious cabin situated on 70 acres - just 5 miles from US 33.

Hocking Hills is our favorite place in Ohio to ride and vacation with our horses.
Excellent facility with cabin and stalls for horses. One of the few cabins in Hocking Hills with this availability. Quiet and comfortable for everyone.
Romantic and cozy getaway
From the moment we walked in, this cabin gave me all the Hallmark Christmas movie feels!!! It was the perfect romantic getaway for me and my husband to celebrate our 21st Anniversary! We were able to relax and “unplug” for the weekend. It was just what we needed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We will definitely be going back!
Peaceful and relaxing
Ellwood Loft was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. Maisy the cat greeted us upon our arrival. The cabin was private, peaceful and relaxing.
THE BEST
The loft is perfect. It's decorated so nice and it has a warm cozy feel. It also comes with a cat so it felt extra homey for us. All of the amenities are wonderful, especially the hot tub after a full day of hiking! We cannot wait to come back. Elwood made our anniversary trip extra special.

We had a beautiful stay at Ellwood Lofts. The place is cozy and clean. Well decorated and had all of the amenities we needed and more. One thing in particular, the bed was super comfortable. We also very much enjoyed the company of Maisy the barn kitty!

We have stayed here many times, and Jeff is a wonderful host. The cabin is very clean. We love being able to have our horses with us when we travel, and this is the perfect set up and location.
Perfect choice.
The Elwood Loft had everything we could have wanted. It was quite comfortable, well stocked with whatever you might need and the landscaping was beautiful. We loved the privacy of the hot tub with surrounding deck area and having the horses right there. The parking area for the trailer was quite roomy and could accommodate large rigs.You may want to keep in mind that the stairs to the bedroom are quite steep and can be a bit scary or difficult for bathroom trips during the night.

Our senses were wowed! from the moment we walked in with music playing, soft lighting, comfortable furniture, clean scent throughout,nfresh tulips, champagne and cake on the counter. We felt like it was such a welcoming and luxurious space! The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. The hot tub felt great! The wooded quiet setting was wonderful.

From the moment we walked into this inviting & cozy cabin with soft music playing, to the cute western theme, we were very pleased with this cabin. The king size bed in the loft was very comfortable, the stars on the ceiling was a sweet touch, and we loved the cozy robes to use after being in hot tub. With the rain & wind, we wish the hot tub was covered but enjoyed it anyway. The stairs to the loft were a little steep, but nothing we couldn't manage. Will book this cabin again!

Cozy and lovely place
Everything was neat, they welcomed my wife with a birthday card and a small champagne, that was awesome.The hot tub is the star of this place, very warm and nice to have some drinks despite how cold it was outside.Also the fire pit was perfect to have a camping style night.We went for my wife's birthday and she loved it.
Hocking Hills Horse Vacation
Travelling with horses to ride in the parks around the Hocking Hills area. A Bend in the Road Cabins is our favorite place to stay with horses.
Excellent Accommodations
The Ellwood Loft was very clean and well stocked for everything you could need. Our group also utilized the 3 attached horse stalls which were perfect for our needs. The grounds were beautiful and quiet, nice to relax and unwind. The only draw back was the spotty cell service and no wifi made it hard for someone not familiar with the area to find their way around. Overall great experience!
Relax in Nature
We totally enjoyed our stay at our Elwood Loft Cabin. It felt like home the minute we walked in. So many personal touches and everything you could possibly need for a getaway. I am not one to relax but it was easy on this property. Will look them up next time we come to the area.
Comfort away from home
We thorough enjoyed the loft getaway cabin. We felt very safe with the security gate. The cabin's decor and furnishings were very homey and comfy. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and robes and the chocolate candy. Jeff and Sidney were very friendly and welcoming. Would enjoy goin back again with our horses. You won't be disappointed.
Elwood Loft
Took a last-minute trip last year to Carps Cabin and was amazed at how private and relaxing this place is!! They thought of EVERYTHING!! Went back this year and stayed at Elwood Loft and was once again blown away at how nice this place is!! Like a picture out of a magazine!! Highly recommend either cabin for a quiet getaway!! Cant wait to visit again for some RR, so glad we found this place!!

My husband and I along with our two horses spent an extended weekend stay in the Elwood Loft. More amenities than we had expected along with added touches in the home decor and comforts of the cabin. Very private and quiet. Horses loved their pasture area and easy travel time to all the bridle trails. I was looking for a quiet place to get away and unwind while celebrating my Lady's Birthday and Valentine's Day. Elwood Loft at A Bend In The Road Cabins was the perfect place! Incredible Loft!
This loft was cozy, clean, and perfect for a quick getaway! Seriously had the most charming touches, from a cabinet full of DVDs to board games, to the robes, to the little treats they left for us it was perfect. It felt extremely safe and secluded! Absolutely going to stay here again.

This was our second stay at Elwood Loft. Both times have exceeded our expectations. The house is very cozy and the kitchen has more than the basics. The thick robes are comfy to slip into after a shower from a day of riding. The horse accommodations are just like home. We can't wait to go back again.
Hocking Hills Horse Getaway
Elwood Loft at A Bend In the Road Cabins is a great spot to stay in Hocking Hills with your horses if you prefer a cabin and hot tub to camping. Jeff is a great host who hasn't missed a detail in stocking the cabin for guests. We have stayed here several times, and the cabins are always very clean. The Elwood loft at A Bend in the Road cabins created a wonderful get away for my daughters and I to enjoy our horses! Perfection
Absolutely loved the cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed in Elwood Loft, very homey and comfortable, and they have everything you need. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after a day of hiking. Great for a weekend getaway, or a long vacation. We'll definitely be back next year!!
Fall getaway
My husband and our two best friends stayed at The Elwood Loft cabin with our 2 giants kids this past weekend 9/25/20-9/27/20! We Loved every minute of it. The cabin was so inviting and clean! Great setup! Love the loft and the wood work. Thank you Jeff again for being a great host and allowing our fur kids to join us. We will definitely be back!

I enjoyed my stay at the Elwood Loft. Jeff and co. had the place looking great and we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing stay. The reclining deck chairs were perfect for viewing the Perseid meteor shower, which was the reason for our visit. Sydney the cat was super friendly and helped us to feel right at home.

Stayed at the Elwood Loft for a long weekend, it was simply perfect! This cabin has everything you could need, down to the simplest details. This was my first trip to Hocking Hills and the Elwood Loft will always be my first choice! I truly enjoyed everything about it there!
