White Tail Ridge Retreat
Welcome to White Tail Ridge Retreat, where you can lace up your hiking boots and walk down the road to the entrance to Ohio's number one hiking destination: Old Mans Cave. The location doesn't get much closer.
This 2000 sq ft luxury log cabin sleeps up to 8 adults/children in 4 bedrooms. Opened late 2023.
On main level (up about 10 stairs to entrance): you will find one king bedroom, full bathroom w/ tub/shower combo, stacked washer/dryer, living room and kitchen. Outdoor seating and propane grill just off the porch for ease/simplicity when preparing meals for your traveling companions.
On the 2nd floor: one queen bedroom and a half bathroom. We also have a desk/office chair in case work still calls your name. The wifi-hotspot is very fast at 500+ mbps.
The lower level features one private queen bedroom, 1 twin-over-full bunk room, and full bathroom. This lower level is where you'll find the wet bar, arcade game area, books, puzzles, games, and a foosball table. Exiting these doors, you'll step out to the hot tub and a fire pit under the stars.
Propane grill. Fully stocked kitchen. Washer/Dryer. Wifi. Arcades. Foosball. SmartTvs w/ streaming capabilities.
White Tail Ridge Retreat has a minimum booking age of 28 for your family stay.
For adult-only getaways: All guests must be 28+.
Steep gravel driveway: 4wd/Awd recommended year round + required in inclement weather.
There are no refunds due to driving conditions.
No pets or parties/events permitted.
Note: For direct bookings only (not Airbnb):
White Tail may require a $500-$800 security deposit. This is due in check form: personal, money order, or cashiers check and is cashed/deposited 30 days prior to arrival. Your new check is refunded in full within 7 days of checkout provided:
1) Everything is left in good working order
2) Leasing agreement has been followed
3) Checkout instructions have been completed

Beautiful Cabin — Peaceful Stay with a Few Things to Know
A few things to know:there are no closets in the bedrooms and no hooks for hanging towels or clothes.The road leading to the cabin is very narrow and can get crowded with overflow parking from Old Mans Cave.Heavy rain, be prepared, during our stay we lost power twice due to storms, and on our departure day, all the nearby roads were flooded.We had a great stay at this beautiful, peaceful cabin. It was clean, well-kept, and the air conditioning worked really well. game room was fun.
A very cozy, inviting space for a family of all ages and perfect location to all the attractions.
Loved the game room for the kids and how there was even a space for others to hangout out all together in one area. Love the multiple entertaining spaces this home offers from outdoors, to game room to the main living space. Kitchen had all amenities we needed to cook while there. Loved how close it was to everything so we didn't have to travel far to get anywhere. Highly recommend and our family will definitely be back for our next visit.

Everything was so nice and perfect for our family! I honestly can't think of anything that wasn't there for use! The lower level was awesome for the kids. Only downside was the burn ban! Other than that, beautiful weekend!
Gorgeous house & beautiful surroundings!
So many bathrooms! So many comfortable beds to choose from! Video games on lower level are so much fun! Deck off of dining room is beautiful and comfortable. Large couches on both floors are comfortable & perfect for lounging in the evenings.

We liked absolutely everything about the White Tail Ridge Retreat. It was a perfect place for our girl's week. The place was clean and very well laid out. Everything you need was there. We all had our own private bedroom, and the shared areas were perfect for all our needs. Loved the fact we were so close to many of the main hiking areas with Old Man's Cave being just a few minutes away. The entire process for renting, checking in and checking out was easy. Thanks for letting us stay!
Our stay was comfortable and quiet!
The cabin was easy to find and was close to Old Man's Cave. Everything was nice and clean and updated in the cabin. We loved the grill and fire pit. The kids loved the Jenga set outside.

The cabin was perfect for a weekend away with our kids and best friends family. Loved having the game room, back deck and fire pit outside with no other neighbors!

The cabin really nice and clean. So private! They do have a lot of kitchen tools that you can use and We cook dinner every night! After long day of hiking is feel so good to use the hot tub. We can't wait to come back
Great location to visit attractions.
Cabin was clean and felt new and the place had everything we needed including a hot tub and fire pit. The location and firewood near driveway was great. The only thing I would change is the sulfur or sewer smell outside while we were enjoying the fire. The place is beautiful and the host was very accommodating.

Great cabin!!
The cabin was well built with very high end furnishings & setup!! The lower level was perfect with the fire pit right outside the lower level along with the hot tub! The septic tank had a bad smell, but maybe it was towards the end of needing servicing. The lights on the main level would trip a circuit when the kitchen lights were in use so keep the 2 sets of lights off by the refrigerator.
It was the perfect Hocking Hills getaway.
White Trail Ridge is the cleanest and coziest cabin experience my family and I have ever experienced.
