The Lakota

This little gem was so immaculate and peaceful! We loved the privacy and the ability to just unplug and relax under the covered porch soaking in the hot tub! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was beautiful, had everything we needed plus some. It was very clean and cozy. Great location!

Very tidy and clean cabin for a few days stay in the woods! Only wrinkle was trying to figure out how to add some water to the hot tub. Otherwise, it's a very nice cabin and a pleasant place to stay.

We loved the close proximity to the park. The cabin had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking.

Loved how centrally located we were to all of the hikes we wanted to do. Could even come back for lunch or a rest if we wanted. We will definetly be back.

The location was beautiful. Our cabin, The Lakota, was lovely. Very clean, the accommodations and household appliances, plus the hot tub were awesome!

Overall, everything. Cabin was clean as the cabin was overall comfortable. Nice view on the back and hot tub. Great for a couple would highly recommend this cabin.

Rustic wood interiorDid not like the tap water, had a bad smell.Should recommend that guests bring plenty of bottled water.

We liked our stay. If I can recommend or suggest an improvement, a small dresser would be nice to have somewhere to put clothes. Also that couch is small and very low to ground. Difficult to get up from for someone taller like myself.

We spent our anniversary at the lakota, we loved the cabin. Its was modern, private, and well kept. The location was perfect to explore the area. We would stay here again.

We liked the cabin - would only suggest better storage for clothing. But the newness of the interior was great. Liked the remote location.

My little dog and I really needed to be away from the city and in nature for a while. This was just perfect. No WiFi took a bit of adjustment not gonna lie. But it was worth it. Could have used a few more maps The Lakota cabin was just far enough into the woods to feel alone but not so far down the gravel path that I was worried about not having a 4x4! My wife and I celebrated at the Lakota cabin. The cabin and hot tub were clean and everything looked new. The area is awesome for hiking and just admiring mother natures finest work. We will be back.

My wife and I have now stayed at both the Trail Ridge and the Lakota. These cabins offer a beautiful, secluded stay in Hocking Hills for a great price. Private hiking trails, fire pits, hot tubs, great access to the popular destinations.. what more could you ask for. We will definitely continue to make this an annual fall trip.

My husband and I stayed at the Lokota Lodge and it was even better than advertised through the website. We currently live in Florida and really wanted a get-a-way/hiking vacation. We found High Rock Hideaways online and were instantly drawn to it. The cabins were beautiful and hidden away. A deciding factors for us was that there was hiking on site. And not just a couple of not so interesting trails, but really great hiking trails. We spent an entire day just hiking all of the trails onsite and

Great views and an overall very comfortable and fun stay. Awesome location. The hot tub light was not working and the outlets by the bed stopped working when we turned on the lamp on the right side of the bed. That lamp maybe faulty ? and it seemed to have popped the fuse.

It was definitely a restful experience I slept great I kept my food up and in hanging bags inside the cabin and did not have any issue with bugs or critters. Plenty of hot water in the shower and the sofa was really cozy. I also loved the Native American decor, we danced and sang to their spirits. Thanks for a lovely place to stay and such peaceful and well kept surroundings. We will hopefully be back one day soon.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The Lakota cabin is cozy, secluded and relaxing. The reservation process was easy and we will reserve with High Rock again!

Our third time staying at this cabin and we will reserve again. It's perfect for the two of us and our furry daughter. We love sitting on the wrap around porch and listening to the birds chirp. The hot tub is always well maintained and there is always plenty of firewood. The secluded location is perfect for escaping the city.

With all of the chaos going on lately, me and my fianc wanted a quick break and unwind in peace. We are frequent Hocking Hills visitors, however this was the first time staying with High Rock Hideaways. The Lakota cabin was nicely tucked away yet very accessible. The cabin was very clean, however our favorite thing was the wrap around deck, which is not available for many of the 1 bed cabins we have previously been at. The property managers were wonderful and very accommodating.We will definitely be back.

We also loved the proximity to all of the other features that Hocking Hills has to offer. We were in the heart of everything!! We loved that you did not have to check in anywhere upon arrival. The key code was provided and everything was immaculate. I was completely blown away by the cleanliness of the cabin. The newly added wrap around porch and hot tub was also a selling feature for us! I can not rave about this place enough. The only thing that we would have liked to know that we did not was that there was a Walmart and restaurants about 20 minutes away and that there was absolutely no cell phone service until you get to town. We did not mind that at all, just would have helped to prepare us a little better. Thanks for all of the email information prior to the visit and thanks again for creating a PERFECT getaway.
