Silver Wolf

The cabin is very secluded with no outside noise from other campers. Access to Hocking Hills popular trailheads is no more than a 5-15 minute drive.

I loved the view looking out into the woods from the hot tub. The small cabin was a perfect fit for my small dog and I to have a little weekend getaway.

Cute cabin, great location. Bed was comfortable & bath nice. We only had 1 issue: we had asked ahead of time about it so it shouldn't have been an issue. We planned to host dinner w 2 friends-1 night our place, the other at theirs. We asked prior to trip if the propane & grill would be available, the answer was an energetic yes! We fired it up, friends arrived & the flames went out w our food half done. 2 empty propane tanks. Dinner was a fail which is half our enjoyment when we go away, cooking

I was pleasantly surprised how clean and cute the cabin was. Bed was comfortable, nice location, not hard to find, and pleased to find we had cell service incase of emergency. We really enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. I would have preferred the cabin to be back off the road going in a bit more like the other cabins, but it was still nice and quiet. Hiking trails weren't too far away and the hot tub was great for afterwards.

It was a very nice cabin with plenty of privacy. It was the perfect place for the wife and I for the weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! We enjoyed the hot tub and loved the open floor plan of the cabin.

We liked the location (close to several Hocking Hills trails), the privacy (friends stayed at an RV site out of eyesight, 3 minute walk), the clean state of the cabin & the amenities (grill, full size refrigerator, convection oven & mist kitchen gadgets).With Verizon, we had absolutely no service. As parents, it was a little unsettling know that our family would have a very difficult time getting in touch if there was an emergency. A landline in the cabin in lieu of wifi would've been nice.

Like the location and the cabin but 2 days into our stay we noticed how much the deck sagged where the hot tube is. When you look underneath the deck the beams were bowed. Looks like someone tried to fix it but failed. We didn’t go back on the back deck after that.

We enjoyed the scenery and being able to bring our dogs along. Fairly insect free for being in a wooded area. We enjoyed walks and took advantage of the hot tub. Cabin was clean and glad we had Air conditioning.

Cabin was cute. Well stocked. Hot tub AMAZING. Well situated for hiking trails. Dog-friendly was great.Problems: Broken door knob. Couch horrible. No hooks in bathroom. "Fireplace" didn't work. Broken hook by door. Mop randomly leaked. Had an envelope saying, "Your cleaner was X. Thanks for your stay." Begging for a tip. Why can't Hocking Lodging Company pay them instead of me?SURVEY ONLY ASKED WHAT I LIKED.But ultimately a great vacation and we'd stay there again.

Water has a natural sulfuric smell, as advertised. Lacking Wifi is pretty nerve wracking if you're leaving little ones back home, especially since its a long walk to cell reception. Other than that, not a bad stay. We went home early to sleep in our own bed.

It was a very cozy, beautiful cabin except the couch we could feel every spring sticking out, the pillows were to soft but overall it was a beautiful cabin.

We liked the seclusion and how nice the cabin was! There were great amenities as well as places to go not too far away!

Hot tub & convenient location

The cabin was clean and the perfect size for two people. Everything was how it said it would be, the hot tub was the best part!

We arrived on Wednesday and stayed through Friday. Silver Wolf was a perfect stay for 2 adults and 2 dogs.

We spent 4 days in the Silver Wolf cabin for a nice mid-week getaway. The cabin was small, but perfect for the two of us and our 15lb. dog. The property is well maintained and is close to both Cedar Falls and Ash Cave and not too far from Old Man's Cave. It's about 20-25 minutes from Logan where there are some good restaurants and retail stores. The cabin was clean and within our expectations. You must realize before you stay that you are in the middle of the wilderness in a cabin made of wood. Yes, there will be some dust and some bugs but probably not any more than you have in your home. Keep in mind that this isn't a hotel room at the Hilton. The water has a smell to it sulfur which is common for these rural areas. You will experience this at most places in the Hocking Hills area. Depending on your cell phone carrier, you probably won't have a good signal or any signal at all. Not an issue for us as we liked being able to disconnect. We had at least one bar on our Verizon phones in case of emergencies. The only real complaint that I have is the sofa. It really needs to be replaced as it is really uncomfortable to sit on from overall wear. It wasn't a huge deal though as we tried to spend most of our time hiking, fishing and exploring. The front and back porch furniture was wonderful for sitting and enjoying the fresh air. We will definitely be back to High Rock Hideaways for our next visit. Thank you!

The online pictures do not do this cabin justice! It was private and beautiful on the inside with views of nature through each window. The cabin was clean and spacious for two people. Everything in the cabin was in proper working order. The hot tub was warm and wonderful. We had a brand new grill to use. The bed was comfortable and the hot shower had great water pressure. The cabin was easy to find and close to area attractions. We will return. Only suggestion would be to bring additional towels

We were there for our 5th Anniversary and plan to stay with this company again soon. We loved how close the parks were and how helpful the manager was with our questions. My husband and I stayed the weekend in Silver Wolf cabin. It was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean and quiet. The cabin had the perfect location, minutes to Ash cave, Cedar falls, and Old Man's cave. The cabin exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I rented the Silver Wolf for 2 nights in early May. We were looking for a way to relax and disconnect from the stress of everyday life, and I couldn't be happier with our choice! The property also has its own private hiking trails which were outstanding I definitely recommend to go see Little Ash Cave!.All in all it was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to come back again next year!
